For your listening pleasure, a bunch of electro-pop jams to dance your pants off to! One thing that I love about the electro-pop genre is that so many of these songs are immediately likable. The beat is catchy, there's usually synths or electronic elements that are memorable, and the vocals (while heavily produced in many cases) match the upbeat vibe. It's nice to have instant gratification every once in a while!

Take the second track from Tanlines as an example. The second I heard this song, I was hooked. With so many of these tracks, it only takes about 5 to 10 seconds to figure out, yep definitely digging this.

The songs aren't all like this though. Ghost Culture's track, "Giudecca," is a bit more subdued and strange, reverberations and instrumentations bouncing around like a dodge ball down a long hallway; nonetheless, I have really been enjoying their stuff lately, not to mention the song reminds me of LCD Soundsystem.

Purity Ring's new album is a continuation to their debut, but they clearly have some mileage left on it as the album plays pretty seamlessly front to back. "flood on the floor" is probably my favorite track on the album.

Speaking of second albums, Walk the Moon released theirs a while ago, and "Portugal" is a super catchy track I've been listening to for months.

"Young" by Vallis Alps is a gorgeous song that feels like I'm wandering forests in a video game (Zelda: A Link to the Past...anyone else?).

I was really disappointed in Big Data's album, especially since he collaborated with Jenn Wasner from Wye Oak, Twin Shadow, and Bear Hands. But "The Business of Emotion" is an intense, kick ass jam with a chorus that kills.

"Anna" really reminds me of Devo, and "REALiTi" is Grimes continuing to create unique, ethereal tracks.

Finally, Miami Horrors have been releasing a ton of singles, hinting at a new album that could be epic if their new tracks are any indication.
